Lifting Slings
Lifting slings from Sharrow, designed for safety, strength and durability, are available in materials and configurations to meet your below-the-hook lifting requirements. Sharrow lifting slings, either made-to-order or available from stock, are ideal for construction, industrial manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, and transportation.
Slings and assemblies are made from wire rope, chain, or flat webbing. Wire rope slings and alloy chain slings are strong, durable, abrasion-resistant and conform to the shape of the load they are lifting. They are ideal for lifting high-temperature loads and for extreme conditions where durability is a must. Our polyester web slings provide strength, convenience, optional load protection and economy. If you need increased capacity in a synthetic sling, choose one of our polyester round slings which provides a more durable lightweight synthetic solution with higher capacities.
Alloy Chain Slings
Alloy chain slings are lifting slings manufactured from different grades of alloy chain. Most common grades used are grades 80 and 100. Other grades of alloy chain can be used with the guidance and recommendations of the manufacturer.
Alloy chain slings are used because of their strength, durability, abrasion resistance and ability to conform to the shape of the load they are lifting. Alloy chain slings can be used to lift hot materials.

Wire Rope Slings
Wire rope slings are manufactured with wire rope that is made with either independent wire rope core (IWRC) or a fiber-core. A core made of a wire rope strand is more resistant to heat damage and has greater strength. Wire rope slings manufactured with a fiber-core are more flexible but less resistant to environmental damage.
Wire rope slings are used because of their strength, durability, abrasion resistance and ability to conform to the shape of the load they are lifting. Wire rope slings can be used to lift hot materials.

Web Slings
A web sling is a lifting sling made of synthetic materials such as nylon or polyester yarns. The synthetic material has its own unique properties and performs better than others in specific applications and environments. Consulting the sling manufacturer or a qualified person before using in and around chemical environments is recommended.
Web slings have a number of rigging advantages. They are commonly used because of their strength, convenience, load protection, and economy.

Round Slings
Round slings are a lifting sling manufactured from a continuous loop of polyester yarn made out of either nylon or polyester and covered with a durable polyester fabric that is color-coded by capacity. Consulting the sling manufacturer or a qualified person before using in and around chemical environments is recommended.
Round slings have several rigging advantages. They are commonly used because of their strength, convenience, load protection, and economy.
